Has anyone purchased the new PS2 yet????? I would assume it would play the patched games as long as you use a boot disk.

I've seen the new slim PS2 advertised in the papers and in the shops and noticed that it has a fliptop lid does this mean you can play pathced games using the fliptop lid theory.

With the slide card method the guide for patching mentions something about removing part of the PS2 tray is this easy to do????? You cant burn DVD on a CD burner can you as my mate has a cd bunrer on his PC(Silly question but I havn't had a pc in years and when I did it was only for champ...

I was just wondering what the best method is to play a patched version of PES4 as I want all the official kits as the editor is not as good as last years(Still a great game though). Also is it better to burn the game onto DVD or CD when playing it patched.

Zyglaski mate I want to Patch PES4 but I have two questions. 1)Can I burn dvds on a CDRW(Stupid I know but I've not had a PC since these came in) 2)which method would you recommend as In dont want to get my PS2 modded so Slide tray method or Fliptop lid. Cheers mate
