I was just wondering what the best method is to play a patched version of PES4 as I want all the official kits as the editor is not as good as last years(Still a great game though). Also is it better to burn the game onto DVD or CD when playing it patched.

DVD format is the only way you can play with patched PES4 on Swap Magic Discs, as CD Rips don't work.

I have had my Slidecard for 14 months, so theirs support for ya.

With the slide card method the guide for patching mentions something about removing part of the PS2 tray is this easy to do?????

You cant burn DVD on a CD burner can you as my mate has a cd bunrer on his PC(Silly question but I havn't had a pc in years and when I did it was only for champ until that started crashing.)

Cheers for you reply mate

You can either find someone to chip your PS2 (the best but most expensive method).
Or use a Slide Card or the Flip Top Lid method. All are explained in the sticky thread here.

Very easy, if you have a Silver PS2 look at this. I did it with a normal black PS2, which was even easier.

Yes it was a silly question, but you, knowing nothing about PC's, compensates for it ;) .
You need a DVD- Burner in order to burn patches games, this forum is filled with guides to do this. I'm sure they'd help.

If I get my PS2 chipped where is the best place to go and If for any reason I could not get access to a DVD burner is there anyone you know that would be willing to sort me out with a patched copy providing I gave them a DVD and paid for postage,

Cheers

Well, chipping PS2's has become illegal. And also buying patched games is judged illegal aswell. Infact your whole post was illegal :p .

Oh dear we'll say no more about that then. Is the slide card method pretty successful then?? I think I have a mate with a dvd burner so hopefully I'll be ok. Honest truth though I know a wee bit bout computers so how compplicated do you think it will be to create a patch of PES4 with my expertise

You won't have to create a patch mate :p . You'll only have to apply a patch to a clean PES4 DVD Image. Which is easy-peezy if you ask me.
Their are patches available to download, so all you'll have to do is download it, then apply it, then burn it.

Please use the link that I gave to you written ''Patching PES4''. By the great Zygalski.

i play patched pes4 on both an old black ps2 and new shinny silver ps2 using my swap magic dvd and slide card. i find this method great, have thought about getting it chipped but no point really for the cost of 80sheets.

get swap magic and slide card!
