Seems there is much more rant than last year even. Back then the game at least had some positive feedback :D I hated it with all my heart last year so let's see what my reactions are this year. Do we still have the option to import our own photos in the edit mode?

Star players don't usually need many efforts before they score in real life either, so I don't really see it simplistic as long as you have to struggle to get a scoring opprtunity. Manual passing sounds really good, though.

It's because I don't want to concentrate on all the processes you go through when passing or shooting etc. Pro footballers, as I said, act on instinct and they wouldn't have time to go through the processes in the middle of action, so in a video game you shouldn't be either. Now the AI is so bad...

Surely it's not about the money. If the game has gone worse instead of better, it's about lack of vision, not caring or being stupid. Konami can't be THAT poor.

In my opinion creating the shooting opportunity should be the thing to concentrate on, and leave the shooting depend on the shooter's numeric skill values.

Well you always NEED someone to complain. Anyhow, unbelieveably good games have been made with unbelieveably small budgets, so I really don't believe in this argument anymore. Cutting features from the edit mode can't be explained with low budget.

Manual shooting? You mean aiming your shot manually with the stick? I wouldn't really call that simulating a shot, because a pro football player for sure acts on instinct without having to search with his eyes a spot to shoot at. An arcade shooting system simulates this well, in my opinion ;)
