you just judge it yourself, well i do, the longer you hold it the further the pass is, good for when your on a break from midfield you can send your forward much better now by holding triangle longer

R3 is not to swerve but its to change direction of the free kick

its in the handbook the mag gave me, you do it when runnig down the wing to leave your oponent looking daft!! i think you run down the wing area then r2 then back twice then forward or something (not got it anymore, tossed it)
