I agree with you Ant - maybe if people play it long enough they become desensitised to the flaws rather than recognise supposed "depth"

I am open to debate but if you think that a ps2 game that is 10 years old is better than FIFA 10 then I am struggling to have respect for your opinion.

i agree that fifa 10 is not a big jump mate but they can't have blinded nearly all of the gaming press.

you obviously havent read my recent posts - I am a lot more open now to a fair debate on this but independent reviews are there to advise on the best product when there is multiple choice. I have a lot of respect for Eurogamer and while I aknowledge its not the best written review I believe...

i don't think coming back from 3-0 down is particualry realistic , its very rare. In FIFA , when the com is winning by a couple they shut up shop. That makes it tough (and rare) to come back

I think that with regard the trickstick and dribbling - you can tell online who is taking time to master FIFA and those who don't. Good players can hold the ball, attack the space and go past players. This was one the key strengths from PES in the past - It rewarded the time you put into it

that is one thing that is much better on this years FIFA - the long range shooting is very strong. Must be the new balls :happy:

your right there - they are far from perfect on FIFA though. I still believe that heading is better on PES though - even on last years version

I agree - its not about slagging the other off (something that I have been guilty of), as consumers we should be pleased that both try to push and out do each other

Good post mate - I particulary agree with the Forza analogy. This is a product that has stepped up to the next gen. You could say the same about tiger woods, madden and Halo
