I think when people think of next-gen games its to do with steps towards more realism and immersiveness... In that respect, unfortunately I think Fifa are further down the next-gen road than PES as a whole, maybe not on gameplay tho.. They've added the collision detection aspect, better...

i think to get proper faces for the classic players would mean sigining a liscencing deal with each individual as I doubt they are members of Fifpro anymore....

Maybe Konami are waiting for the Chapions League qualifying rounds to end so as to confirm the liscence because it may tie into which teams are proper and which are not.... For example, if Liverpool get knocked out in the next league, it may affect the liscencing of the team so until the 27th...

I agree with amateur, two very good football games is better than one good and another average game... Take the fighting genre, you have so much choice and all the games have their own stle and depth which helps to raise the bar across the board...

According to WENB, the right analog stick is solely used for manuel passing with the R2 button held down whiles dribbling used to perform ALL tricks including the Zidane spin etc... I think that is a fundamental change in how the game will play and in that respect im intrigued if not a little...

I just watched the Man Utd v Barcelona clip an you know what? I feel that the game has become way to physical...... It seemed that steaming into your opponent was a effective an legal option to obtain the ball and at times it reminded of a pre-school kids game, where all the kids are falling...

You can't compare at this current time as FIFA have released far more OFFICIAL information (photo's, videos and interviews) than PES 2009. Therefore in that respect, infromation levels are going to be almost poles apart... you misinterpret rumours as officially released facts..
