I agree on that, I used to identify players in PES 5 & 6 by their body shape, it was so accurate most of the time. However that is different from Player ID which Konmai introduced this year.

I said they should put generic faces so no need to put efforts on that. Also how many players do you think Konami included in their player ID? I remember reading 50 players only. So essentially most of the players have no player ID.

There is no problem at all in including lower leagues clubs to bring more fans to the game, even konami should do this, i have read many many PES fans asking for this, and it is not a huge task either, just take any manager game and reflect the stats then put generic faces and you are done. lazy...

Since football games where created for any type of platform, no matter how arcade or simulation they were, i can't remember one that did not include a league mode. actually the most basic way to emulate football in real life at a computer game is by playing in a league. only a league match after...

But now I can't play in a league with my mates and compete against each other. removing the league mode is pure stupidity at its best. or maybe they will come next year and say "we introduce the LEAGUE MODE".

I'm really impressed by the A.I. at this demo. (I'm using Jenjey's 35 teams patch with 15 min. match and AI at the highest level and cheating disabled)

That video is from the FIFA 2012 demo, the final product is much much better. Also for me, the impact engine is doing a great enhancement to gameplay compared to FIFA 2011.

Did you guys noticed in the new BAL screen shot that the player takes the rule of a RB defender, previously we were allowed to take only midfield or attacking rule.

i don't know what to say, i didn't play perfect striker 3 but it looks a little arcade. the freedom shown in it is great but i don't think it's a better simulation of football than pes5.
