No that's my point though, the power of the shot depends on the ability of the players' "shot power" stat, the bar itself represents height, not power. To make it too slow would make the game too easy, though it certainly has been too fast on the last 2 efforts

Yeah they do tend to make the cover stars and their teams somewhat invincible (look at Newcastle in PES 08) - but it's nothing that an option file or some stat editing can't fix. It might be worth flagging this in the official feedback section, or perhaps a moderator/admin could move it there?

Man I used to check the PSN every Thursday - and I haven't done that for absolutely months! I'm sure I'll be getting back into the habit when there's a PES demo ready to surface...

Oh it makes subs FOR you, I see... There is a setting in the pre match menu, I believe it's something like "Auto formation" or words to that effect and you just need to switch it off. Althought I may be thinking of PES 6 as I haven't played 09 for a while.

The computer always makes changes as far as I'm aware, I've never really noticed otherwise.

Thinking about it, I imagine we wont hear anything about these play tests until PSM3 Mag is released, perhaps they have exclusivity. But if they have signed NDA's - the post seems fairly neutral from that point of view.

Just been on Twitter and saw that PSM3 Are typing their "thoughts" having played the game, which probably means that WENB have played it and we'll be hearing something later on. Hmmm Now is it me or does that have a slightly negative slur? We should use this thread to discuss any hands on...

People are just going nuts with their suggestions now we've been "endorsed". Konami have announced the people who will appear on the cover. They will not be changing or adding to it. It's about the only thing we can definitely say about PES 2010!

Great. They've ditched film noir. The essence of Max Payne is gone. It now looks like every other next gen shooter on the market. Great graphics yes, but what's the point? There isn't really a film noir game on next gen so why they've ditched it I do not know.
