From what I understand, the US WE7 is the same as PES3. So shouldn't all the PES3 patches be alright for it, including the Wendetta1.1?

I've got WE7:I on order from play-asia and it will be the first time I've played this game, much less patched anything. I've got AnaMorphOss's webpage bookmarked... if I just follow that step for step, will it provide all the info I need, or is there something even more fundamental than that...
