I don't use this to play as the other side either..more just 'pause game, switch teams, make adjustment to CPU formation, switch back to my own team, unpause game', so I'm just altering their tactics/formation . It's really just to make up for some of the deficiencies in the CPUs tactical AI...

I was wondering if anyone found it useful that you can change teams mid-game in PES3 via 'player settings', and alter the CPU teams formation, make substitutions etc, than switch back to your own team. Very useful if CPU gets a player sent off - you can make the CPU behave in a more tactically...

Go 4-4-2 or 5-3-2, 3 at the back is asking for trouble from the CPU wingers. It also helps to man mark strikers and offensive midfielders.

Yeah, some calls are quite bizarre-o. What bugs me more though is getting called on hairline decisions all the time - I'd prefer a bit of leeway - 'in line with the last defender' shouldn't be consistently called offside.

I've had similar problems "USB error connecting to PS2" using XPort V1 with the V2 update downloaded from codejunkies and drivers manually installed etc., with my windows 2000PC. So now I'm ordering the complete V2 discs etc, hopefully that will solve my problem. Yep, WHL, XPort is available...

I came across Batigol the other day when I was doing a search for buying players in ML. There he was, buyable for 1400 odd salary points I think.

You should have 2 different discs - one says "PC' the other "PS2". Loading the PC disc in the PS2 will lead to problems.
