It's not slow, it just seems that way when you first play it. You have to get use to it and then the speed seems to get faster. Try putting on a higher (if you are not playing at 5*). Or if you have already been playing for quite some time then try getting the 'double speed' option in the PES...

On PES2, Recoba was in World elite and no in da Inter squad so there is always a possibility that Batigol is that da elite squad (but doubt it). I guess the other possibility that Batigol was found was coz you earn when you win the ML league or something.
