are his actual stats increasing? when you first sign someone, their 'development curve' tends to stay flat until the end of the season...if you are playing and training him all the time then the curve will be steeper than the 'predicted' curve and it'll catch up....

on ISS on the N64 you used to be able to cycle through a few 'formations' when you were taking a corner, so the players would move around...usually you could either have players at the front post, or all at the edge of the box, or spread out round the pen spot etc...

if you want to edit a player, you have to do so from his 'default' team, not the club/country you've added them to. and you can register 'classics' in the current national squad.

i think you can change the time for master league games. However, why anyone would want to play for 45 minutes each half is totally beyond me, especially in master league. you'd be playing about 3 games in 5 hours. you probably play atleast 45 games in a season if you include cup and WEFA, so...

well he did win 8 matches, and maybe he lost the other 22 by one goal....ultimately, as Zyg pointed out, if he didn't want to keep playing he just had to choose 'end game' instead of rematch.....and maybe calculus was hosting all the games and so his opponent was determined to get another win...

About the commentary....it's not Peter Brackley and Trevor Brookings fault that it is so poor. They are not sitting inside your computer commentating live!!!! All they do is record a load of phrases and names that they've been asked to read from a script. It is the programmers job to program...
