With a CD-RW drive, can someone explain to me how to make a CDRip instead of patching the DVD?

Like I say, I need to pop to town anyway, HMV and Game are both on the way to the place I need to go, I'll just pop in and ask them about it, worth a try.

Technically speaking, no, it probably isn't worth it. Would rather play a newly patched version of PES4 and wait three weeks, than pay £50 for a PS2 game...

Everyone's saying patching the option file, but you can't patch option file's can you. The closest you'd get with the option file would basically be like what you get with the Max Drive.

Doesn't the PSP use dics aswell though? Therfore surely someone would be able to work out how to patch the disc eventually...

I'm no expert, but if you are using AFS Explorer, I believe you open DVDIMAGE.iso in WinRar, extract 0_Text and open it with AFS. Replace the relevant files, and thenput your new 0_Text over the old one still in the iso. At least, I think that's how...

If you use an Option File editor there is generally the option to lock/unlock them.

How do I remove the original CD Re-writer? (I'm not too knowledgable of the inside of a PC)
