^ Hmm... What are you playing it on ? On PC its almost identical to Fifa 08. Maybe the only thing that's changed is shooting from long range. Some of the goals I'm scoring are just silly..

I played a match and drew but didn't go to penalties.. How come ? Perhaps because I was playing against a human opponent and not the COM... The PC demo is no different from Fifa 08... It's only the up close images that look different and maybe the fact that you can score from over 40 yards...

Best Player to use is Messi. I've somehow mastered playing him on the right flank. I recently played in league mode and he scored 42 goals (in 30) playing on the right flank and that's considering all the blue and grey arrows going around. I can't imagine what he'd be link in master league where...

Unless you are playing on next gen, fifa 09 is basically fifa 08 with better graphics at least on PC. I can't imagine what it's like on PS2 because ps2 definitely wont have next gen graphics. The demo is on GamersHell -> Here

I think its random. I've actually find it easier buying players with transfer likelihood 0%. I don't think the game's A.I is intelligent enough to differentiate between the different percentages. Don't think those numbers mean anything. Signed him after only 2 attempts. Reset the game and...

Anyone know how to get around this. Even with all settings set to the lowest I can't seem to sign certain players. And what's even more retarded is when they declare that the negotiation has been put on hold, they say the player is on his way and it will remain so throughout the negotiation...

Even the goalkeeper does it. For instance when he receives the ball and you haven't reached him yet, he'll use the R2 dribble/slow dribble and beat maybe 1 or 2 of your players before passing. :(

I personally am not concerned about how it looks. PES2008 looked good. It's just the AI, player physicals and general movement that was poor. I don't think it needs to start looking better already. As long as there is better AI and the players are not skating all over the place or...

Where's the link showing the release date ? I've checked google but can't find any reference to the fifa 09 release date. Just assumptions from fellow users.

I've had the game for almost two months and I've barely played. I don't want to start because I could easily get addicted and fail my exams.

Where as you can do that on PES2008.
