Just tap the shoot button and place it in the corner. I've found it extremely easy to do on this version.

I won't avoid the word scripting as it's one of the most scripted versions I can remember playing to date. There isn't even an attempt at hiding it anymore.

Well after playing lot's more games and figuring the game out a little more, I'd have to say it's the most blatantly scripted version of PES I can ever remember playing.

I want them to take it out or PES is over for me, and Fifa just isn't my thing so that leaves me with no football games to play which is a travesty!

I also think this clicking of the right stick to make your players make a run is just so ott and a ridiculous amount of fiddling. It's pretty much killed the game for me as I can have 65% possession and my players just will not make any intelligent runs so I really struggle to break any team...

The advice you've given me is completely wrong, for my situation. R1 isn't what I use to select players from dead ball situations. I use the right analogue. And when you refer to 'arrows', I'm presuming you mean the d-pad? Which is a pretty confusing, and bizarre thing to call it when arrows...

Not sure what you mean about arrows and pressing R1. What does that do?

Double tapping the sprint button doesn't seem to work very well for me. What am I doing wrong?
