Welcome... have fun

Every new game I get seems to get a read error within the first day of playing it. I give the disc a clean and normally it doesn't freeze after that. I usually leave a game in the console when it's off but Thierry's probably right - better off taking the disc out to be safe. Whatever you do...

The guy from the gas station tells you where they're coming from..ie. by saying "six oclock" etc. If you switch to the UV lamp quick enough you'll get them before they even get close. Started the campaign on insane there last night... fook it's hard. It takes much longer to "heal" after a hit...

How good is it in comparison to Gears of War? Was thinking of getting it but I'm worried I'll just give up playing after a few days and go back to GOW when I feel like killing

You will not be disappointed Just started playing in co-op mode this week. It's so much fun. I peek around a corner only to see a grub in front of me... suddenly his head explodes! I look back and there's Dom with smoke coming from the barrel of his magnum... quality!

How about that Gears of War game... Pure quality. Chainsaw bayonnet..genius!

Just got the game there yesterday. Hadn't really payed much heed to the hype but I immediately loved it when I started playing. The gameplay is fantastic. You really feel like you're in a war.. switching from cover to cover.. swinging grenades and getting in lots of killing. I really like...

It pisses me off when my player is clean through on goal and with a tap of the shoot button performs a weak little chip that rolls into the keepers hands... even when he appears to be fully balanced and on his good foot. Seems to happen randomly. Other than that I think it's a great game...

I've saved my formation. Don't remember exactly how at the moment. The save option becomes available when you copy the current formation to something else... not sure if there's a user formation slot or something but I was messin about with strategy A and B and there was another one there that...

I just rang HMV, Galway ,Ireland.... they're selling PES6 today and it's cheaper than Play.com !!! AAAGGGHH Think I'll pick it up in HMV after work today and send play their one back when it arrives next week.

Looks like mines not coming today... didn't arrive in the post this morning :( It was posted on the 25th like everyone else but I think it must take longer to get to Ireland

Interesting. Sounds really good apart from the auto-switch player thing... I'm so used to playing with manual switching. I would have liked if the post match stats were better but over all it sounds good

Sounds promising... I hope it comes tomorrow because I won't be at my delivery address on Friday and I'm away all weekend which means, if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow, I won't get to play it till Tuesday evening!!!!:shocking: !!!
