I'm new too, and having downloaded some of the tools etc, I now have just copied my PES4 data to my PC. I have the program that applies the patch to the ISO file, I just need to download my patch to apply now. But, can anybody explain fully just what discs I really need? Where can I get them...

Select the correct drive? How do you mean? Put the disc in the re-writer rather than DVD-Rom?

I got this message when I tried to do it... UDF File System Parsing Failed! Reason: Unable to find 'VIDEO_TS' folder. Are you sure you have a DVD-Video Disc in the drive? What does this mean? I went to go to Mode > ISO > Read but Mode was blanked out after this?

Can you cancel it half way through for example, without ruining the disc? Therefore if it's going to take hours for example, I can cancel without worrying?

I'm a bit wary about putting the data from my PS2 version of PES4 onto my PC. Can the disc be ruined in my CD-Rom drive? Has anyone elses ever been ruined?

I think what he means, is when you patch a PS2 game instead of burning it on a disc can't he patch it onto an OF.
