also, its not demonstrating the whole range of abilities needed to make proper stats for, and also the videos look pretty bias to me, which doesnt show the players' weaknesses. otherwise the guy looks like he'll be awesome when at his prime, considering hes only 15!

I think shot power doesn't necessarily mean that the player scores goals, it may also mean that they can produce powerful crosses. Curling is used in shooting and crosses, not just for free kicks. Bagrunnel will probably give you a better explanation.
