A hex editor allows you to change the raw data in binary files. I use Hex Editor Neo, but there are a million other freeware ones available. Check download.com.

It works on both. The instructions in the first post of this thread are for PAL. If you're NTSC, look for the gray quote box in the first post.

Does anyone know what file is the "kit map" in PES 2009? (The one you would open with Yogui's Kit Model Manager) Last year it was param_dat_27.bin from cv_1. Thanks.

Regardless of how you "acquired" your iso, the label in ImgBurn shouldn't matter. Make sure you're opening the .dvd file, and not the .iso file. I would also suggest burning it with CloneCD instead.

NTSC or PAL?

If you're going to import each .bin individually, you don't need to rename anything. However, if you plan to use the "import folder" function to replace all of the faces in a single batch - you will have to rename all of the files to "unnamed_xxxx.bin". (xxxx is file number)

You can, in fact, un-link any team from their assigned kit - allowing you to edit the kit in-game. You need to "unpack" your param_dat_27.bin (from cv_1) with ZLIB Manager in AFS Explorer, and open it with Yogui's Kit Model Manager. You would then highlight the team whose kit you want to make...
