I haven't had any lag at all yet. The matchmaking system is great too, it's exactly the same as the one in Halo 3 but it's quicker. The campaign is even better than it was the first game, storyline is superb. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but you will absolutely love it.

Nope. Horde is insane. Was playing earlier and my team managed to get to level 19 which was decent but it goes up to 50 which would be pretty impossible I reckon. Only played the first chapter of the story but it was very good. The gameplay is essentially the same with some nice new touches.
