The clothing on FIFA09 just doesn't look right to me. The clothing from the 1st pic of PES2009 looks very good to me.

I like to know how you can skip the video sequence at the end of the game?

I've tried both and had no real loyalty to either. PES2009 is a whole lot more fun to play over FIFA09 on the PC and console. PES2009 demo so far on the PC plays the same on the console.

Agreed, the ability to curve (notice I say curve and not curl) the ball in FIFA09 console is very kiddish in nature. You can actually "curve" a ball going straight without some sort of bend/arch in trajectory.

:fplm: I actually agree with him. The players to me aren't as "robust" or as polished as they are in PES2009. Which make them look almost similar on the field. Unless you are looking at the game from a blimp should all of them look the same.

In fifa09, the ball is kicked so far from the player as he dribbles that it's easily stolen.

That's what I've been trying to confirm. There is a way to do it. I did it by accident.

I notice some curl and thought there was a specific way of doing it. It wasn't a big bend though.

It's more about preference then not utilize it. Some people don't care to use a right thumbstick :lol:

Actually no it's not. To be able to do tricks with the same thumbstick you move the player with is very intuitive. Also, you can actually do just that with the D-pad (move the player and do tricks). So it doesn't make sense to me why there is no option for players to do the same with the Left...

:fplm: I am talking about it being intuitive to the game. I don't care that you memorized them. The term "practice" as you used it is for something in RL not in games. When doing tricks you "memorize" them.

Is there a mod that allows you to change a player's attributes? height weight sprinting power endurance etc FIFA09 had a modded program for it so it's not uncommon.

I agree with the first comparison with ball physics. There is no reason for a ball in FiFa09 should go sailing into the bleachers of the fans when attempting to make a goal. That makes no sense. But the second part of the OP I don't agree with. There is a name for it and it's called...
