I think that the BEST advice is to give it a try yourself and then decide whether you should spend money on an adapter.

I do not want to be biased or trying to prove anyone wrong, but I don;t think people used the same connections for both versions of the game. Even if they do, the one that is connected on the 1st input, is always sharper than 2nd one. So that might have to do with it. I use component cables...

The players run faster but the ball seems to be slower when passing than in WE8. I also prefer PES4, it just feels right to me. How can WE8 look better than PES4??? No logic in that whatsoever.
