Fernando Torres is a killer in the air. He's not too tall (185cm?) but has excellent jump and heading ability, plus is class on teh deck.

I actually don't mind playing against an ultra-defensive AI. Just buuild up slowly, win lots of corners and freekicks. Also, when in the prenalty area, hold up the ball heaps - the AI will eventually give away a penalty :D

As if u need brazil to win ;). I normally play with England - Rooney and Owen outscore any human using Brazil :D

Cech isnt really that good, IMO, as he has a good defence in front of him. I'd have to say Casillas, as Real's defence is hopeless, and he still manages to get some good saves. Otehr than that, maybe Reina.

I actually prefer messi. My current combo ATM is Rooney and Saviola - both extremely fast, well suited to my playing style.

Pick really young players with good starting stats - I find it more satisfying to build up youngsters than to buy a team full of Ronaldinho's, etc.

Park Ji-Sung does indeed make your midfield more attack minded. He is also a useful utility player. Another good DMF option is Mbami. Very quick (faster than his stats suggest), good passing and dribbling, strong and can tackle - an African Roy Keane? My current starting midfield in ML: DMF...

lol, eva tried 5-3-2 with AC Milan or Italy? I play this formation occasionally to piss off my bro, who's an attacking nut. I always absorb his attacks, and score 1/2 quick goals on the counter. Normally though, I play 3-5-2, with 2 OMF's and 2 CF's. Works a charm with teams like England :D

lol, train up messi, he'll get better than Ronaldo with enough match time. Also, look for Kaabi, Baumjohan, Milner, Senderos, Fabregas, Van Persie, etc

I havent played 3* since ISSPro98...always 6*(or 5* in those early days). But i suppose all u gotta do is stick with 3*, and your skills will improve enough for u to find it easy...

i play 2 extremely fast strikers - a highly developed rooney and saviola, backed up by ronaldinho as an SS, and Kallstrom as OMF. Ronaldinho and Kallstrom can both hit them from yonks outside the box, and can deliver killer chip-through passes for my speedy front pair.

You can change diff. level at the end of season in PES5/WE9... I've always unlocked 6* ASAP, and play ML default team with 6*. Takes a little longer (sometimes 2 seasons in Div2), but it's more rewarding. I also unlock teh league editing thing, so u can edit the leagues u play in in ML. I now...
