PES for the PC is certainly the easiest game to patch in my experience... If you want to patch the PS2 games, you would require a modified PS2 and various tools. On the PC it is quite straight forward case of downloading a patch and following instructions.

Well it is your connection then. The chat areas do lag very often though. If you have a wireless connection try connecting using wires instead... and like i said, make sure NOTHING else is using the line.

Depends who you play. I have completely lag free games against some people, but still have some lag with others. So long as you have 1mb Internet and are playing someone in the UK with at least the same connection, and neither of you are using the connection for ANYTHING else, it will be fine.
