I second this. If you must play Pro Evo Online, play one of the older ones or get Hamachi for direct IP gameplay. If you are playing on PS3 or 360, then get FIFA 09. Excellent online experience and a much deeper footie experience to boot, although it does lack the cutting edge excitement...

PES 2009 only runs at 60HZ or double multiples of that. So when playing PES, you should either run your monitor at 60Hz or 120Hz. Anything other than this and you will get a horrible dragging effect. HTH.

They are sitting constantly disconnected and reconnecting thier modem/router. If they are the host then their game will continue playing whilst yours freezes. Just dont play PES 09 online...it is just not worth the hassle in the slightest.
