Ain't tried the demo, but the sound effects sound awful. Is the gameplay any good? I've loved PES5 to PES2008 on the PS2. Will I like this game? I've heard that it is very different to the PS2 versions of the game and is quite slow.

The game feels so sluggish. Football is never played at a snail's pace, yet FIFA thinks this is the way you are meant to play football. Has anyone seen the PES 2009 Champions League trailer? Now that looks awesome.

I've just tried the FIFA demo and I think it's absolute shite. The graphics look worse than PES2008, and the football is very slow and boring. In the four games I've played, I've only had 3 shots in total, and only one was on target. I think PES2008 is a much better game than FIFA 09. A...

It looks pretty good. A lot better than the FIFA cover at least, which looks like cancer.

PES 2009 got 97% on it's first review. I've never liked the FIFA gameplay and it looks like every goal you score is the same. It sounds like a much better game from the latest previews as well.

Sounds good! I've never liked FIFA, because every goal you score is the same, and ultimately is never really that satisfying in comparison with PES.

I would like to see Fred killing Jerry, seeing and he gets the better of Tom all the time - this annoyed me greatly.
