That's right. I was disappointed with the lack of editing at first - especially in regards to the Master League - but it wasn't too much of a miss in the end. The last PES I enjoyed was 2009. I still have PES 2011, for some reason, so I think I'll give it one last chance before I trade it in.

PES 6 was the first current gen game. It was available on the 360. It was great, but lacked content. To be honest, I only realised issues in PES after I moved to the PS3 (from PES 2009 onwards). It could just be coincidence, but I remember 360 gamers liking PES 2008, but not PS3 owners.

I'll probably wait for the price to fall to about £25, which it has done pretty quickly for the last two years. I'd so love for the gameplay to be good again, because the Master League is one of the greatest things ever.

I'm not sure if the misspelling of "new" (as "knew") was a Freudian slip, implying that the new PES makes the game feel like the PES of old. Could be a good thing, depending on how "old".

If the players is good enough, such as Messi, then you can dribble past players without the trick stick, including not needing to knock it ahead of you. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's definitely not impossible. You can dribble with close control by holding the sprint and close control...
