I purchased winning eleven 8 and patched it with the OLE MIX PATCH and to my suprise i found out that Jaap Stam was not in the Netherland squad. Is there a reasonable explanaiton for this, or is this a mistake in the patch? Thanks in advance.

DVD Decrypter wont record help!!! I followed all the steps in your guide, and put in a DVD-R [4.7GB] in to copy the .MDS file but it just says : "Device is not ready [Medium not present]", and nothing happens. Could it be that i am using the wrong type of DVD-R??Please help. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to increase the player stats for the netherlands team. I am trying to make them a better team when playing against my friends, can anyone give me some stats for the players without over doing it? [increasing all the stast to 99 does not work, it only makes the players run erracticaly...

I modified one of my players stats in Edit mode and now any time i take a shot on goal with the player it just takes a weak lob shot [no matter how hard or soft i press the shoot button]. Can any one tell me where i went wrong in the editing process? Thanks.

The joypads work fine, besides i dont think both pads would just pack up all of a sudden. The machine seems to work fine with all games but it wont respond to the pad hence i can't get past the intro screens.

I've rebooted the machine numerous times but to no avail. The machine works but it does not respond to the joypad at all.

I was playing my chipped PS2 with my mate and all of a sudden the console stopped responding to the joypad! We rebooted the machine with an original PS2 game and we could not get past the opening screen 'cos the console did not respond to the keypad. Has this happened to anyone b4? If so can...

The arrows of both teams are set to red, and my team is Netherlands. It has nothing to do with confidence cos i beat all the other good teams with at least 3 goals at will.

weird!!!! I have suddenly become unable to defeat Brazil [Against the CPU or my mate] .It seems that everytime i play Brazil my team loses all its skill and ball control, and every shot i take is caught or punched by the keeper. Even when i get a lead i seems to concede a goal in a flukey...
