I think the speed of the game is very difficult to get right as different people like a different speed of game. The game used to have an option for editing the speed, like in FIFA, but this was removed. If I reduced the speed, I think just as many people would think it was too slow...

Its difficult as making teams attack you better, makes them easier to use yourself. If I increase the stats that would make these teams attack better, if you selected them to use against another team, the game would seem easier again.

I am with you and understand what your saying, but I know that dropping the dribble speed of players made them turn slower, but didnt seem to effect their speed when running straight. Did you try the option file yet?

Do you have the 1.2 konami update installed and are you using the european version of the game?

No changes to goalkeepers. You generally get less chances in games as your players are closed down faster and the defences are smarter, so I didn't want to make it too low scoring. If people try the file and majority want improved keepers, it might be put in, in any future release.

Apologies, but I have never even looked at the USA's files. I am not sure if I would need to edit a whole new file to get it to work and in that case I wouldnt as this file took months

Thanks, That's exactly what I was trying to achieve. How are you finding the likes of Torres? He has been edited quite a bit and is pretty deadly when you play against him. With the original stats he didnt seem that good as he wasnt one of the fast forwards.
