When you score with a home team, there is a lot of cheering and it is easily much more realistic and louder. With away teams, on deafult settings, you'll find, there isn't much cheering. It varies from dead silence to a few distinct cheers you can sometimes hear.

You don't need PS2 Online, mate. Markony plays out the games on his PS2. You just post your team and tactics.

It depends on the position of the ball. If it's closer to your head, your player should head it. If it's nearer to the ground, then it should be a volley. R1 is supposed to keep the shot lower but, as I've found, we all have different methods for doing that.

Feyenoord, Collina and some Italian clubs, so far. It seems they're concentrating on Italy for this version unless there happen to be some surprises in store as we near release. Feyenoord was possibly picked for the Japanese influence.

Yes, they are more animated. The sound is a big improvement from previous versions and different stadiums have different atmospheres. They even wear appropiate clothing for different weather effects. Still cardboard cut-outs however.
