I keep seeing it on TV and can't get over just how poor it is, the clip they use from the game looks terrible. Least appealing advert ever.

They've been working from the bottom up since just before the release of 2008, we've just had no evidence of it yet... so they'll have had much longer to work the new engine which is said to be ready for the next edition. With that in mind considering the size of the company, they've done well...

Yeah fair enough, but they can't really make a "better football game" without improving the faults of the previous title. I imagine PES 2009 is a starting point. Remember how much better PES 3 was than 1&2? I think we're going to have a similar evolution this time round. 2010 will be the one.

hey man! long time no see! I am a bit baffled at your comments towards PES this year.... I just don't see how you can't tell how much better it is? Sure it's not the ultimate next gen game this year, but it's certainly a playable and quite enjoyable version of the game if not the massive jump...

It will have to be free or they will most certainly be "nailed in the bum"...

But surely that's down to which game you are more used to, as a FIFA user wouldn't understand the performance arrows etc... In terms of navigation, PES does seem simpler, but I'm not sure if that's because I'm less used to FIFA.
