yeah what really pisses me off is how Seabass made all these promises, and told us that they are building PES09 from the ground up, and so far it turned out to be PES08 without most of the flaws!

Fifa seems class to me this year as well, as hard as that is to say, but Konami are to doing to little each year. And the sad thing is they are doing bit by bit year after year just to get the game to play like a 3 year old game. Not good enough for me, PES09 will be the last roll of the dice...

I know Fifa promised a completely revamped manager mode for 2010, so Konami better shape up with the ML next year or Fifa will prevail again.

For the edit mode being that much improved, I don't think so! Certainly it's a massive improvement on PES08, but not that much of an improvement on the edit mode in PES5 & 6

at this point in time it looks as if you are right dude :fplm: Unless Konami starts working 12 months a year on the next installment, and not 2months while jerking off the other 10 fifa will surpass our beloved pro series

I must agree with you, I don't have a connection and won't be able to download the demo. But after hearing some of these reviews it may just as well be a good thing, sounds more like PES08.1 I'm dissapointed, just a few upgrades...I wonder if konami took PES08 and made the gameplay as slow...

Yeah i agree with Amateur, though the videos I've seen of the PES09 demo, seems pretty decent, thankfully a lot slower gameplay and a lot harder to score!
