I used to be in to the LMA series, but then I decided to get Football Manager 05 instead, and I will never get a LMA game again. Football Manager is far better and cheaper too.

If you had to negotiate your own contract, surely you'd just want £0 a week so you'd get more wage budget on players. So that'd be a crap idea.

If I were you Magpie I'd just wait until the latter stages of the season and the sign players whose contracts are expiring in a few months.
