In Exhibition mode, when you at Select Team menu press R3 to turn off live update, after the game loaded your edit data, press back once to Select Side menu, then go to Select Team menu once again. You need to do this every time you start PES 2017.

Not in the near time. Usually there's another patch around march. But I'm not sure about December update though, is it only an update contains 4k or will it come with more faces. Who knows what Konami thinking:erm:

Are there any edited players stats? How about Asian CL and national teams? Did they update the rosters?

The original files has too long name. You should rename it in PC before putting it in the USB drive. BIRMINGHAM and NOTTINGHAM should do, or maybe just BIR and NOT to make it simpler.
