Nah, you have to set the senior, res and youth squads, where it has res, click it and a drop down menu comes up

We have Senior, Reserve and Youth squads, but I doesn't matter they can all play in the games. And yes, you have to wait till the fixture list is confirmed then you can make a formation et tatics

Click: Competitions-->Reserve matches -->Schedule reserve match Then type in the tie that you want to play, you can only play reserve games on wednesday though
