If that's the case you'd expect they'd put all their effort into the PS4 version, and give the PS3 some shitty watered-down port. I remember when they first jumped to the PS2, the PS1 version of the game was essentially just a squad update of the previous game, with 0 changes to the gameplay.

Is there any actual goal in the game? Or is it simply just to survive as long as possible? Does your character level up in any way? It must get a little dull after a while to not have any actual tasks to do rather than "go to town Suchathing, scavenge what I can, go to next town, don't die...

Maybe they live in some backwards part of the world like Burnley, where they don't have internet but would still like to play Xbox?
