At least you actually get the game in America now... better than 3 years ago. As for the WC qualification, that was basically were you played as Japan and took them as far as you could. Obviously this was dropped for Euro/NA releases.

Yes but you have to appriciate the gaming market here is not as "hardcore" as in Japan. Most people in Europe would not fork out an extra 30 quid for a slightly tweaked game.

North America only gets one release. But anyway... Winning Eleven in Japan is HUGE. There is enough of a market to sell 3 games a year there. Here, could you honestly see yourself wanting to shell out 3 times a year? Probably not.

Word has it that Winning Eleven 10 could be released as soon as APRIL! And if you check back later, we'll have a $5 off promotion for you when you pre-order. The news, direct from a source at Play-Asia, suggests that the game will be released on April 27th on the Playstation 2 in Asia.

It's an option file. No reason why the kits edited in game are not going to transfer.
