Tell me it's all about the start!? Thing is mate, I wonder if I could do the toggle any faster but when doing Long Jump etc the bar is full constantly so I know I'm getting full power. If I nail the start I reckon I can beat 10 seconds...ok I HOPE I can :erm:

I've broken a few World Records, namely for the Discus and Shot. I've got a decent technique down for the Javelin too but struggling to land a World Record for that. 100m I can win but I can never seem to get a good start, and I'm fucked if I can beat 10 seconds. I've had several 10.02's...

So has anybody treated themselves to this game? I bought it myself yesterday, my brother had come to visit for the weekend and we caned this for about 4 hours, multiplayer-wise it was top notch, really enjoyed it. Some events I just couldn't get to grips with but overall I really enjoyed it.

I'm with Barry. Hoping we get one game worth shouting about, the gameplay in Euro 2008 was way better than FIFA 08, and a couple more improvements EA could be onto a total winner with FIFA 09. But it's all about opinions, I love PES 2008 and apparently i'm one of a few who do love it. I'll...

Looks very similar to last years, I just hope its more than a Footy Manager-style update. There's so much that can be improved, fingers crossed it will be one of the better installments. EA Euro 2008 was an excellent game, hope PES 2009 can match the new FIFA.

Well if you need/want an extra manager I'll be up for it...
