You're not missing out on much. It's virtually identical to the first game, but placed in a different environment. Whatever people's opinions were on Motorstorm 1, they're going to be the exact same with Pacific Rift. At least there's multiplayer though.

I see no problem with speculation and guesswork in the forum. It's certainly no worse than 50 threads on impressions of the FIFA demo in the PES 2009 section.
