The connection was poor yesterday. The final (and third) time I was diconnected was just as the match was about to kick-off. I couldn't be arsed to sign in again. Will anyone be playing tonight?

Actually, this is the first PES I've had on the PS3, so maybe that's why it seems faster? The past three current gen games I've had have all been on the Xbox 360 and the pace seemed fine. Standard Konami speed, but not as fast as it feels now. I also played the demo on the 360.

I just scored from my own half with my VP. I was about 15 yards in my own half. Their keeper came out for a last minute corner and I capitalised handsomely.

Another thing I noticed was the noise level of the home fans. It's great that the home teams receives a louder support, but not on neutral ground. I was doing the world cup and every "home" team had more and louder chants; and if the home team concede, there's silence. I think there should be...

Nowhere near as good gameplay as FIFA, but it's fun. After the first couple of games, I was fearing that they hadn't moved on from the demo, or the last game, but it's growing on me. I can only see myself playing Master League, though. For that reason, I should've waited for the price to drop...
