Actually, I wonder if you can allocate yourself more than one position. Anyway, like I said in another thread, I'd like to be a central midfielder and be the play maker.

I think they touched on it in the article t23d posted, but I wonder what will be the consequences if you continuously stroll out of position. Will you be subbed off or even left out of the manager's line-up in future? Will relationships deteriorate (with manager and team mates)? I'll probably...

Maybe I should give it another go. It was taking me a while to get into it, so went back to the Virtua Tennis 3, which has the advantage of being able to pick up and play the game with ease. I was getting frustrated with the slow pace of TS3, but maybe I was being too impatient.

Oh, I would also like the choice to type words (sponsors) onto the shirts, rather than be limited to scanning images, which, to be honest, look rubbish most of the time.

I noticed that, too. Like you say, I assume they're getting paid to advertise products on the game. I haven't noticed the ad boards change though.

Arsenal and Barcelona aren't there either, so the video must just include the teams that had automatically qualified for the tournament and did not need to play in the qualifying rounds.

When it comes to edit modes, the most important feature to me is the kits. I want the kit options to be wider, but not too outlandish. Konami released images of that white with red "lightning bolts" kit, but I hope the classics are still there, with modern kit templates.

I can only assume (in hope) that it was not a complete version. I also noticed that Serie A is no longer licensed, but the clubs seem to be. I like the menu design, it reminds me of The Go! Team artwork.

I think there is/was already a PS3 league for PES 2008, so maybe you could get the same people involved. I have a Xbox 360, so would be up for joining that league.

One of my pads have broken, so if this is the same price as a normal 360 controller, I'd get it.
