Yeah I think you're right, it's like with nhl, nfl, nba games etc they just have to obtain the licence for that organisation which is effectively what konami have done with the 3 leagues they've got cos they can't buy the whole FIFpro licence cos of ea.
Does anyone else have this on their pc? It came free with mine, it's like a zoo version of theme park/hospital or sims.
It's getting pretty addictive at the moment.
That sucks, I was hoping that cos of the licenced dutch league at least holland would be given the real names.
Any word from anyone on the sponsor editor? has it been backed up or was it a load of rubbish?
It makes sense really because in real life when someone signs for free they are paid a huge signing-on fee and their wages reflect the fact that they were free. It also makes the game that much harder which can't be a bad thing...

Is this confirmed? I've been at work all day so haven't been on here till now. If this is true i'll probably wet myself with excitement, it's the one thing i've been hoping for to make editing that much better. I hope you're not wrong.
This is gonna be great, they appear to have taken a huge step forwards by having 3 complete leagues licensed. The prem is gonna pale into comparison though with the crappy edited kits etc.
Is it more likely that we'll get the whole prem though if we already know they've got at least 3...
I've never gone through with getting my ps2 chipped cos i think it would kill it for good so i'm just hanging around waiting for pes4. plus i've had pes,pes2 and pes3 so i want to keep my loyalties intact.
I used to love nhl 99 on the ps1 and nhl 2002 on ps2. I never played nhl 2003 but i bought 2004 and took it back cos it wasn't too good at all. If nhl 2005 is really good i'd buy it but otherwise I won't have an ice hockey game this year.
No I hope they include that again, there's no harm in it and I quite like it cos I made one of them a custom team to use for my ML and I made the other a classics team from the players you can buy in the shop.
Thanks for that razor. It's good to see all the info at once. This game is gonna be awesome.
Did you mention being able to edit the keeper kits and stadium names?
