I'd like to give a nod to Professor Layton on the DS. Aesome little game, had me hooked from start to finish. My girlfriend finished it first but we had a great time playing it.

Professor Layton is an awesome game. Try Hotel Dusk for a good adventure story/adventure, The Castlevania Series of games are also pretty damn coo'

Haven't played many games this year, but this was a toss up for me. For pure fun, chaos, insanity and gang beatings, it has to go to Saints Row 2 for me. COD:WAW would come a close second for Nazi Zombies.
