I'm almost Certain that i had a ridiculous 54 weeks for an injured player once (Litbauski i think). But although he missed the whole season, and i had to use my third or fourth strikers, he was fit again for the first match of next season. Never had a retirement through injury though

I like to dribble around the edge of the box if it gets crowded with defenders. If there's no hope of getting in with a SMF or CF, see if you have an OMF running on, pass the ball to him and get him to smash it first fime from outside the box, Lampard style. Takes practise though
