The player form on the PES series has always been a bit hit and miss. PES2012 needs to scrap the current system as it full of bugs. You can have a player have an absolute blinder one match and then have a purple arrow the next! I'd go with a 'confidence' rating and a 'big match' rating...

You'll need to wait a season or two but you'll find retired players appearing in your youth team aged 17 - some with truly excellent stats from an early age.

Go 4-5-1 against Bayern, always stifles them.
