It's happened in other PES & ISS games too. Just swap the missing player with another.

I ues various formations: 4-4-2 (diamond), 3-5-2 (various),3-4-3, 4-5-1 & 4-3-3 (4-5-1 & 4-3-3 are usually pretty similar). With 4-3-3, you are almost guarenteed to thrash whoever you play. The most important things about my formations are setting the right defence and attack arrows.

I see 4-3-3 as an easy option when it comes to PES games. Although it's not a bad thing, I always seem to easily batter teams with 4-3-3. It's too easy with that formation. I think it's coz of the wide strikers (WG).

I've only played the demo, but the SS works well for me, especially for Arsenal, where I play Bergkamp as SS and Henry as CF. Maybe, if you give your team a slightly longer run in that formation (with SS), you'll get used to it. Constant tweaking makes it difficult to get a concistent...
