Not really. By this stage all they should have left is balance testing. If there are bugs it opens you up to having to rewrite sections of code which could so easily prevent you from releasing a game on time as you'll need to start a fair chunk of your balance testing all over again.

Basically, EA Sports no longer give a toss about PC users and they've said as much. They're not willing to put the effort in on our platform for any of their titles, some of which won't even be released on PC this time around. Quite frankly, for a company of their size its absolutely ridiculous.

Nope, every single date on the internet is identical to the PS3 and 360 date. Worst-case scenario these days would be exactly seven days later. I can't remember if it was the same day for PES 2008, I think it might have been.

I heard somewhere that the PES demo would be released three weeks before the game. Given that the game seems to be out on October 17, that would mean no demo until the last week in September.

Who have illegally broken the release date which, as an industry standard, is Friday in the UK and Monday in the US. The only game released on a different day, if I remember correctly, is Grand Theft Auto. Football Manager, FIFA and PES regularly have their release date illegally broken by...
