No it wasn't. It continued for me after the patch until I made tactical adjustments.

blob, I had the issue with disallowed goals and had to reduce the frequency of long shots for everyone who had it at normal to rarely and often to normal. That sorted it out immediately for me.

Part of the reason is surely because FIFA 2008 on PC is not "next gen" (which is a term I hate). Konami's disgraceful lack of OS testing does have something to do with it though.

It really shouldn't make a difference in this respect. As I clearly missed it earlier: is the Radeon 9600 supported by the game? My guess is that a better graphics card is needed. That said, a user on this forum is playing using a 9600. Not sure if they are in XP, however.

Konami's own support will tell you that they did not test the game on 64-bit XP or Windows Vista. I didn't have the issue you're having on 64-bit Vista but quite why, I don't know. Unless someone with 64-bit XP can help with the problem, I'm struggling to see how you'll get it running.
