1) i personally find a dummy helps here. When running towards the keeper 1-on-1 (on ps2) press square followed by x to take the ball past the keeper - if time right you always find yourself with an open goal That's how i score a lot of goals !!

On the ps2 version when you hit the free kick and hold and left/right it kinda swerves but if you also press R1 or R2 repeatedly then it seems to swerve more !!

I tried the face scanning on this is football, couldnt get the lighting right so i either ended up either bright white or the darkest black!!

To be honest i found the game very very similar to PES6, there were few changes that you would notice unless you were an avid player of PES6. The referee gives a lot less fouls. I remember in PES6 you would barely touch a player and they would get a free kick, the ref seems a lot smarter...
