Italy and Spain weren't in the Gamescom Demo... Plus the announcement popped up on the PES2010 widget I downloaded from the official site so I'm confident it will be tomorrow.

Personally I don't see why they bother at all tbh. They stopped making Madden for PC, they might as well put FIFA out to roost too. Apparently with Direct X 11 it will be easier to port X360 games to PC so maybe theres light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes, the Klive emulator is a top class program. Yeah looks really bad now like but it was fun at the time especially Match Day II. Still remember being totally blown away by Emlyn Hughes International Soccer when it came out, the first proper football game, might give it a go later :)

Couldn't agree more, its like playing on the moon. Slow motion players, floaty ball, basically FIFA09 with 360º (16 way from what I could tell) and crowds from PES5. And FIFA09 was basically FIFA07 with improved graphics (but not that improved).

I went back through the PES2009 discussion boards and found the post where they were first shown. They were on www.videogameszone.de and www.pcaction.de. The articles were released around the last week in September.

Yeah it was some French/German PC mag that released them. Think they did it in between the Demo and the full game.

Logitech make the best human interface devices so i'd look there or the X360 Pad. Also one cheap gamepad I bought for PES5 is a Logic3 JP274 gamepad which is basically a slightly bulkier PS2 gamepad but cheap and sturdy. Also you can try a USB PlayStation 2 controller converter like this one...

GIMP is free, but yeah use Photoshop :)

If it works in gamepad settings in control panel, it will work in settings.exe and the game. Got loads of different gamepads and they all worked in PES5 and upwards, even the PS2 gamepads.

I have to agree with Tech about the licenses. It is good for Konami to have the Champions League and Europa League licenses but in my opinion it doesn't make up for the amount of unlicensed teams in the game. At least Game Graphic Studio and the Edit Mode will overcome that issue :w00t...

Sounds like the PES6 (PC/PS2) kit edit mode, which isn't a bad thing ;) One thing I'd like to see is Other Teams B being empty from the start, with a icon at the top saying "Create Team". Once you press the icon you get the normal Edit team menu allowing you to change kit/stadium etc. Then...

The only way I can see it being omitted would be some contractual clause excluding Microsoft which would mean it would be missing from the X360 version too.

Depends on the terms the EA contract has with the Bundesliga. Pretty sure if its not there its more EA's fault than Konamis.
